The Fundy Model Forest is engaged in advancing sustainable forests and sustainable communities.
Projects are underway to promote non-traditional forest products, to assist community planning, and to evaluate the potential of wood biomass for heat and energy. We also support outdoor education and habitat stewardship programs.
Fundy Model Forest is a member of the Canadian Model Forest Network which is part of the International Model Forest Network. There are 15 Model Forests in Canada and more than 50 world-wide.
